December 31 was Timothy's birthday. We nervously ate cake as we anticipated singing in front of 15,000 people later that night at the Global Mission Church revival service. Below are a few pictures of us singing at 1:15am.

Before Jared and Matt returned to the states, they toured Seoul several times with Gabe and Judah. Here are pictures of the subway that they would take from Migeum station into Seoul, the Seoul Tower, and Seoul at night.

After Jared and Matt left, the rest of the family traveled to the national homeschool conference for Korea. The main speaker was Jeff Myers. Tim, Boni, and Judah also took part speaking.

Here are some beautiful shots taken while on a night hike in the mountains near our apartment. Notice the sea of lights in the valley below.

Nobody is going to lie; kimchi is difficult to eat when you were raised on American food. Here is a closeup shot of the famous Korean dish. If your mouth waters, you were not born in the United States. Anyways, it is comical to see the action shots of Julianna and Evangeline in the process of eating Kimchi. Julianna: 1. Don't make me eat it 2. Have a lot of water on hand 3. OOO it is so delicious... Evangeline: 1. What a joke this stuff is 2. Not such a joke 3. Where is the bathroom.

We had some of the Korean homeschool leaders over to the house for supper and a discussion of the future of Korean homeschooling.

Shopping for gifts in the crowded Seoul markets.

Friends over for supper.

Traditional Korean dress.

Traditional Korean dress at church. They have yet to do that in the United States.

Friends...
Here are pictures of H. G. Underwood's house. Underwood travelled to Korea from the United States in 1885 and was the first Presbyterian missionary to come to Korea. He later founded Yonsei university which is also pictured below. He had a tremendous impact in Korea.

Afternoon hikes...

Soccer at the school down the hill from our apartment....

More friends over for supper...

Here are pictures of the final Family Sunday School at Global Mission Church before we returned to the United States.

The last days in Korea... including a cookout at the apartment and goodbyes with friends.

Packing the truck to take overweight bags to the airport... and finally, the last few minutes before taking off for the other side of the ocean.
